Here’s a detailed step-by-step guide on how you — as an advertiser — can post your first P2P advertisement on Bybit.
Step 1: Please click on Buy Crypto → P2P Trading on the top left corner of the navigation bar to enter into the P2P trading page.
Step 2: In the upper right-hand corner of the P2P trading page, click on Ads → Post My Ads.
Step 3: Click either P2P Trading or P2P Block. To check your eligibility for posting advertisements, please refer to this page.
Step 4: You can create your ideal advertisement by configuring the following settings. Please note that the advertisement information you set will affect the sorting of advertisements.
A. Type
- Select advertisement type: Buy or Sell
- Select your preferred coin and fiat currency
Note: Find the supported coin and fiat by expanding the dropdown list.
B. Price Settings
- Select either the Fixed Price or Floating Price
Note: A fixed offer price will not fluctuate based on market movements, whereas a floating offer price is calculated by multiplying the premium and the reference price.
- Enter the price (per USDT) or premium that you want to offer
C. Transaction Settings
-
Choose the payment timeframe within which you would like the counterparty to make their payment. The payment options will vary between different currencies due to the varying processing times of local banks.
-
Enter the total quantity you want to trade
-
Enter the minimum transaction amount per order
-
Enter the maximum transaction amount per order
Note:
- To sell your coins, please make sure to transfer your coins to your Funding Account.
- To learn more about the minimum and maximum amounts of USDT that can be traded per ad, please refer to P2P Order Limits.
D. Verification Requirement
-
Select either Yes or No
When the Verification Requirement is enabled by the Verified Advertiser (VA) and Block Advertiser (BA), takers are required to complete verification with the advertisers when the order exceeds the specified threshold of fiat currency. Both parties have the right to decide whether to proceed with the transaction during the verification period within the timeframe. Advertisers may request the following proof from the taker in the Order Chat Box:
- Liveness Check
-
Photo ID
-
Proof of payment
-
Bank statement
This function is recommended to enhance the security and trustworthiness of transactions. It helps verify the identity of both parties, reducing the risk of fraud and ensuring a smoother, more reliable trading experience.
E. Requirements for the Counterparty
This setting will allow you to filter through the more credible counterparties, but it may also reduce the level of exposure that your advertisements will get.
If you would like to set up requirements for your ad’s counterparty, click on Add Now and you will be prompted to select your preferred requirements.
F. Notes
Leave your remarks for your potential buyers or sellers.
G. Payment Method
Click on Manage Payment Method and you will be directed to the P2P User Center to add your payment method.
For more information on adding payment methods, please refer to How to Add a Payment Method for P2P Trading.
H. Contact Info
Click on Manage Contact Info and you will be directed to the P2P User Center to add your contact information.
Note: Contact Info is only applicable to Sell Advertisements.
Step 5: Make sure to verify all the information you entered in the Ad to Be Posted box. If everything is correct, proceed to accept the terms and conditions and click on the Post Ads button.
Step 6: Complete the Security Verification step by entering the six (6)-digit Google Authenticator 2FA code in your Google Authenticator App or your Fund Password which can be set up in your Account & Security page.
Step 7: Click on Confirm to be redirected to the Listed page where you can view the details of your advertisement.
Congratulations! Your ad is now successfully listed. Please remember that advertisers are expected to be online and available to respond promptly to counterparties and engage in negotiations in a timely manner when the advertisement is in active mode.
