Here's a step-by-step guide to placing your first order with Easy Options on Bybit.
Navigate to the Easy Options Page
To access Bybit Easy Options, first launch the Bybit App. From the homepage, select Derivatives and tap on Option. This will take you to the Bybit Options page, where you can then choose from three modes depending on your experience with options trading.
Option Explore
For novice options traders, tap on Explore to view the top Option contracts by open interest, 24-hour price change, and other aspects They can then tap on any contract card to access the Order page to place orders.
The contracts available under the Explore mode are as follows:

Top option contracts expiring in the next 12 ~ 36 hours, which are affordable, and offer high liquidity, thus ideal for novice options traders |
Top Picks |
Top option contracts ranked by 24h trading volume, which offer great liquidity and are popular among traders |
Today’s Winners |
Top option contracts by price increase (%) in the last 24 hours, which are trending and have strong momentum |
Top Holdings |
Top option contracts by open interest, which offer good market depth |
Large Trades |
Recent trades of the highest trading volume, indicative of interest among smart money |
Traders with more hands-on experience with option trading may navigate to the Easy or Pro mode to invest.
Option Easy
Under the Easy mode, traders can skip the complex chart reading and market analysis and buy option contracts directly. Here are the steps:
- Select the desired coin type from the dropdown menu.
- Decide on buying Call or Put by toggling between Over or Below
- Check out the contract card for key indicators such as the contract name, price, expiry, and 24-hour price change.
Traders can also access additional information such as Options Market Overview, Options Knowledge Base, or Options Trading Overview and switch to different margin modes by tapping the ellipsis.
To buy options under the Easy mode, tap on the contract card to access the Buy page. On the Buy page, enter the amount to invest and you can view the order cost, expiry date, profit conditions, profit probability, leverage, and P&L Analysis.
The P&L analysis chart below presents the current market price, the PnL simulated based on the Mark price, the breakeven point, and the optimal P&L situations under simulation. After reviewing the details, traders can tap Buy to purchase the contract.
In addition, traders can tap on the Details button in the bottom left corner to view important information such as the Option Name, the current Ask1/Bid1 price, the 24-hour trading volume of the contract, and the 24h price change (%).
To view Order History, tap the records icon next to the ellipsis.
Option Pro
Pro mode offers a classical view of the options contracts. Traders can choose to buy or sell puts or calls, and swipe left or right to choose the desired expiration date. Similar to Easy mode, traders can tap the ellipsis to select different margin modes, set preferences, or simulate options strategies.
